Coraline Jones is a 12 year old girl with a large personality. Coraline is a feisty, tomboyish, rebellious, adventurous, curious, and creative girl for her age. She is a quick thinker and witty. She is often aggravated by rain, grown-ups, and people not taking her seriously because of her young age and outgoing demeanor. But her biggest pet peeve is people pronouncing her name wrong (they confuse it with Caroline). Coraline is also very skeptical of what adults tell her, especially her parents. There have been a lot of broken promises between them and she finds that she can't always confide in them, thinking that they probably won't listen to her anyway.
